Muthanna - Media Office: As part of ongoing efforts to regulate local markets and protect consumers, the Vice President of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce and President of the Muthanna Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Duraid Hamoudi Al-Araji, chaired an expanded official meeting at the Chamber's headquarters to discuss the repercussions and causes of the rising prices of table eggs in Samawah District and to develop immediate solutions to ensure market stability. The meeting was held with high-level governmental, security, and commercial attendance, including the Mayor of Samawah District, Mr. Uday Qasim Al-Araji, the Governor's Advisor, Mr. Muhammad Hajim, Dr. Nimir Ali representing the Governor's Office, the Director of the Organized Crime Directorate and its Operations Director, and a number of company directors and commercial agents. The meeting included extensive discussions to assess the market situation in light of increased demand. The Chamber President emphasized the critical importance of strengthening effective coordination between administrative and security bodies and the private sector to ensure stricter trade oversight and a smooth flow of essential goods to citizens. Both Al-Sarraf Company and Atard Company, as producers, pledged to increase their allocated quotas for Al-Muthanna Governorate, contributing to price stability and meeting local market needs.
